As Manager for the Strategic Communications team, Alicia’s passion for organization and efficiency is appreciated by our teams and our clients. Prior to joining SIGNAL, Alicia served as Program Manager for the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America’s Certification Program. There, she worked with manufacturing lions like Dyson, LG Electronics, 3M, and Benjamin Moore to maximize their involvement in the program and reposition the companies as health and wellness thought leaders. From day-to-day operations, marketing and branding, communications, client relations, and strategic development, she was instrumental in driving the success of the foundation’s national brand campaign.
Alicia has also worked with a notable list of corporations, nonprofits, and government organizations that include the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), National Institute for Drug Abuse (NIDA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Habitat for Humanity, Sodexo, Tobacco Free Florida, DC Health Exchange, and the Fisher House Foundation, among others.
Following her graduation from West Virginia University with a BS in Public Relations, Alicia worked in multiple roles at IQ Solutions, a healthcare marketing and IT firm; and at GolinHarris, an international communications firm. As a lifelong video gamer, science fiction nerd, and reader and writer of fantasy fiction, creating new frameworks and environments is just part of her makeup.
