As a retired US Navy SEAL veteran and operational experience in both Theater and National Tier One Mission units, Bruce’s guidance of SIGNAL’s Defense Advocacy offering within our Strategic Consulting practice is a fundamental component of our ability to seamlessly grasp and solve government acquisition and program issues on behalf of a number of defense-related clients.
Bruce’s success as an operations and acquisition expert is an outcome of over 26 years of Military and Government Civil Service within the U.S. Special Operations Community. His ability to develop future-ready, proprietary technologies as Science and Technology Advisor to the Commander of Naval Special Warfare Command Headquarters required exceptional attention to detail and program management experience culminating in the integration of number game-changing technologies into programs of record, and ultimately, directly to the warfighter. He was also chairman of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM)’s Special Operations Science & Technology Component Council and outlined Naval Special Warfare Technology Objectives as author of the 2009-2013 Naval Special Warfare Science and Technology Strategic Plan. Bruce 16+ years of defense technology program management includes Tactical Vehicle, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), Command Control, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Technical Information Operations.
Beyond a profound understanding of the complexities related to government requirements processes, Bruce possesses an unsurpassed level of focus and determination towards achieving outcomes on behalf of SIGNAL clients. He possesses multiple certifications from the Defense Acquisition University, holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Phoenix and is a devoted father, hiker, and fisherman. When he’s not outdoors, Bruce remains active as a member of the Underwater Demolition Team (UDT) / SEAL Association, The American Legion, The Veterans of Foreign War and is a Lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, who he considers part of his extended family.
