John leads commercial and sovereign clients through the complex currents of global brand management. Through the development of client positioning platforms, media relations programs, and crisis communications efforts, John has successfully delivered on client initiatives in more than 25 countries on five continents.
Previously with Gibraltar Associates, John has leveraged his expertise in transnational litigation, investor-state arbitration, and dispute communications to support the preservation or recovery of client revenue in excess of $3 billion. He has supported clients in sectors ranging from health care to defense and IT. While at DCI Group, he was recognized by the Public Relations Society of America with the Bronze Anvil award for Media Relations for his work in the technology sector.
In 2004, John was presented with the Department of Defense Joint Civilian Service Award for his work communicating the Coalition Provisional Authority’s and U.S. Embassy’s Iraq reconstruction efforts in Baghdad. His service included the execution of press briefings, media backgrounders, and the coordination of site visits to major infrastructure projects throughout Iraq.
John holds a degree in international relations from The George Washington University and an Executive Education Certificate in Corporate Diplomacy from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, the International Association of Business Communicators, and the Issues Management Council.
